Still no planting this week 🙁 Still getting equipment ready, delivering hay and straw as well as the everyday chores of feeding the cattle.  Just a few pictures I snapped around the farm this week, enjoy!

Working on the grain table. This is a 30 foot grain head that we use to combine wheat and soybeans. Wheat will be ready soon after we are finished planting so its important to make sure that everthing is ready to go to minimize the amount of down time when the conditions are fit.

Working on the grain head so its ready for wheat harvest in a couple months!

Ultrasounding cows. This is an ultrasound machine that the vet uses for several reasons. Some of the most common uses are checking the health and sex of calves and checking a cows ovaries to diagnose breeding problems.

We ultrasounded a few cows this week, here is the ultrasound machine the vet uses.

A new calf. This is our cow Pam (The farmer we bought her off of named her after my wife) with her newborn bull calf pictured at 15 minutes after birth
